Clarity On Right Vs. Wrong
Pope Benedict XVI has come out swinging against the secular multiculturalist narcissistic moral relativists who want to cast aside hundreds, if not thousands of years of tradition and reinvent societies across the globe.
He's not going to take it anymore.
In exceptionally strong language, the Pope makes the case:
The Pope will deliver a blistering attack on the “satanic” mores of modern society today, warning against an “inane apologia of evil” that is in danger of destroying humanity.John Paul the Great was clear on morality and virtue, and it appears Pope Benedict will continue to carry that torch.
In a series of Good Friday meditations that he will lead in Rome, the Pope will say that society is in the grip of a kind of “anti-Genesis” described as “a diabolical pride aimed at eliminating the family” [see below for the local angle]. He will pray for society to be cleansed of the “filth” that surrounds it and be restored to purity, freed from “decadent narcissism”.
While some will regard their emphasis on sin and the dark side of human nature as retrograde, others will welcome them as a sign of the strong and conservative leadership that Pope Benedict XVI was elected to provide. We can thank God for that.
He speaks powerfully about the forces of evil that call evil "good" and good "evil". These are forces inspired by satan.
The Pope has not actually composed the prayers for the traditional Way of the Cross, but is certain to have given his blessing to the Good Friday meditations at the Colosseum. Here's an excerpt:
Their author is Archbishop Angelo Comastri, Vicar General at Vatican City. The tone of the meditations is striking in its contrast to the contemporary fashion for feel-good religion.
“Lord, we have lost our sense of sin. Today a slick campaign of propaganda is spreading an inane apologia of evil, a senseless cult of Satan, a mindless desire for transgression, a dishonest and frivolous freedom, exalting impulsiveness, immorality and selfishness as if they were new heights of sophistication.”There is no gray area here. We are in a war of cultures and civilization, and if you don't believe it, pick up the local newspaper. In fact, pick up the Red Star, and you'll find evidence of their advocacy of many of the evils mentioned by the Pope.
For a local angle, wouldn't you know that one of the leftist Minneapolis "churches" has stepped into the fray, as KARE 11 News reports: "Minneapolis pastor says "I won't" to civil unions".
While Minnesota legislators continue to debate who gets to legally say, "I do," a Minneapolis church has decided, to say it won't. "I will no longer sign marriage licenses. Opposite gender couples will have to go to the judge at city hall to have them signed," said Pastor Don Portwood from the Lyndale United Church of Christ."Opposite gender" couples? You sanctimonious son of a gun. The lunatics in Minneapolis are exactly the kind of people the Pope is trying to reach with his message, however, I suspect they won't listen. I suspect they don't respect the Pope because he stands for virtue and morality.
Members of the 120 year old church in South Minneapolis voted unanimously to support the move. "We have decided that we are no longer going to discriminate against same gender couples..."How is signing a marriage license discriminatory against homosexual couples? Marriage is for one man and one woman only. If you are a homosexual couple and you want some sort of recognition, make up your own configuration.
Stop trying to destroy traditional culture and values. We're going to fight back.
The homosexual agenda to normalize disordered behavior is pernicious, especially when abetted by institutions such as Minneapolis churches.
Shame on them. And may the Pope's words reach their misguided ears.
